The world is changing fast and Peterbilt Electric trucks are leading the charge! 

Designed for optimal weight distribution and performance, the fully integrated, all-electric powertrain in the Model 579EV uses Lithium Iron Phosphate battery packs to provide a range of up to 250kms. When used with a DC fast-charger, the state-of-the-art, high-energy density battery packs recharge in 3-4 hours, making the 579EV ideal for regional haul, drayage, pickup and delivery and last mile operations.

The Model 520EV features a range of 160kms including 1,100 bin cycles when used with an automated side loader or 130 compactor cycles with a rear loader refuse body.  The LFP battery packs can recharge in 3-4 hours when using a DC fast-charging system, making the 520EV ideal for the predictable routes seen in refuse applications.

The Model 220EV is Peterbilt’s first electric configuration for medium duty applications and provides customers a zero emission Class 6 or 7 vehicle for clean, efficient operation and lower overall maintenance. With a range of up to 320 kms on a full charge, the Model 220EV is powered by an electric motor, featuring two battery packs and an on-board charger.  When using the vehicle’s DC fast-charging system, the battery packs can recharge in 1-2 hours, making the Model 220EV ideal for local pickup and delivery, as well as short regional haul operations.
